The municipality of "Nordhausen" told him that there was work in "Hessisch-Oldendorf" (after 1945 West-Germany). For that reason he left his family (2 brothers, 1 sister) and went to "Hessisch Oldendorf". In Hessisch-Oldendorf Paul met Martin's grandmother and his father was born in 1938. In 1945 the Russians built "the wall" and his grandpa lost contact with his family. Martin was born in 1969 and now lives in "Hameln" (near Hessisch-Oldendorf). Also, Taylor has been chosen to attend the Governor's School of Math and Science this summer. She will be attending College of Charleston for this, for 6 weeks, of intense study in "Global Issues", and "One cell organisms". She is tops in her class, and is getting offers to skip her senior year in high school and go directly into college. A sister college of Princeton, called Furman University, has taken an interest in her achievements. 1st she was nominated by the state, and just last week received her letter of acceptance as a Furman Scholar, which is a very high academic award. 4.0 GPA maintains this status.
